from what i understood, the song is about her life when she was in her home town as a normal teen.

lol. Well she’s successful, no doubt about it. She had #2 song of the year the first year she released a song (complicated) number 1 albums and other songs, a world tour the year after she put out her first album, sold out shows, her toronto show in 2007 sold out in 15 seconds. Also, it’s been a few years, but everyone knows who she is, right? She’s left a stamp on the music industry no matter how she did it.

Complicated is my favorite, it sums up the Avril Lavigne attitude that she became famous for. Plus the song is awesome.

Certainly not Avril Lavigne, who’s managed to unite both her current flame Brody Jenner and her ex-husband Deryck Whibley.

Although she was flip flopping between both boys recently, they hit the town together last night.

A source tells E! the three hit up Drai’s at the W Hotel in Hollywood Wednesday night where they shared a VIP table and friendly conversation.

“They were all hanging out together and left together in the same car,” says our source.

And the night didn’t end there…

“They went to Mel’s diner after for a latenight snack,” says our source. “Brody and Deryck were getting along well. It looks like they’ve become friends.”
