When is Avril Lavigne creating a new CD? since she came out with a new single "Alice" on Alice In Wonderland Soundtrack. When is she coming out with a new CD? Her last CD was in 2007. anyone know?

I really wish she’d stop being a tool to make money off of tweenies and would go back to being a art instead of a commercial for fashion accessories and beauty products.

The sad part is that her inspired music from the first 2 albums is probably never going to occur again. All we’ll get now is more commercials in some fashion. Even her latest single was a commercial for alice in wonderland…

I just watched Avril Lavignes Alice In Wonderland Underground Music Video and I absolutely adore her hair in it, does anyone know how I might be able to get a similar hairstyle? Should I curl, straighten with waves, etc?

I help someone who owns their own Avril Lavigne blog website (which resulted in her meeting Avril in person a few months ago), and i can confirm Avril use to sing country songs when she was younger.

In fact, Avril was ‘discovered’ by her first professional manager – Cliff Fabri – while singing cover songs at the Chapters Bookstore in Kingston Ontario, about 20 minutes from Napanee where she grew up…

And there’s a home movie of Avril, dated 2001, that shows that same Chapters Bookstore along with around 5 minutes of Avril singing:

"It Matters To Me" by Faith Hill
"Wide Open Spaces" by Dixie Chicks
"How do I live without you" by Leann Rimes
"Adia" by Sarah McLachlan

All of which, I think, can be categorized as Country songs.
