Well, when she first came out, she was something completely different, and unique. Her music was also something new, and, as Evan Taubenfeld (who used to be in her band on lead guitar) recently quoted "she marked an end to an era of bad music and the beginning of an era of good music….It was time to start fresh, and then everyone started copying Avril". I think that sums up her entrance nicely. And its true – she was something totally other than the Britneys and stuff of early last decade.
She also demonstrated how being yourself can help your career. She wasn’t an act, and was extremely popular back then. She hasn’t been on the radar for a while, but hopefully will be when her new album comes out this year.

when u straighten buy a straightening heat protect spray or something and do it in really small sections and straighten really slow. do the underneath layer first too.
